Black-and-white classics of marketing communication

The American company Vulpes LLC begins promotion of new series of products aimed at outdoor enthusiasts, travel and tourism in the wildlife. To assure a successful promotion and positioning, a decision was made to create a new independent TrekSafe trademark and its brand identity elements.

In the process of evaluating the necessary branded communication elements a decision to develop a typographical sign for a brand name and separate symbol was made. These are the basic semantic elements of the TrekSafe corporate identity; they define its visual differentiation and brand recognition.

A typographic sign was designed as a stylized form of a brand name in the an original font style, specifically developed for TrekSafe.

A symbol is designed as an associative abstraction of the letter S (from Safe) and road, path, route, placed as a negative space and enclosed in a hexagon shape. The final artwork achieved the brand’s main goals – to convey originality and uniqueness of brand's image, emphasizing brand positioning aspects such as stability, confidence, security, and striving forward.

Emphasize of simplicity and symbolism determine the expressiveness and integrity of logo forms and reflects the organic nature of the image and contribute to creating a positive perception of it.

The graphic and typographic signs are equivalent in dominance in the brand's style and give the possibility to organize the various interactions of corporate identity elements which then maintain the relevance of branded marketing communications.

The visual system is flexible, adaptable and easily transformable. It identifies the brand as unique and assures easy recognition for the consumers. The corporate identity elements are practical and technical. They fit into any formats of modern communication media and can be scaled with ease, without changing the perception of corporate identity, they can also be freely used in any desired color.
